WELCOME TO ROSE AND SWEET BRIAR HOLIDAY COTTAGES

Janet and Chris Hind would like to welcome you to Rose and Sweet Briar Cottages which are situated in the quiet hamlet of Kersall, near Newark-on-Trent, North Nottinghamshire. In earlier times Kersall was once a Quaker village which made its living from farming and basket making. The cottages are in the grounds of Hill Farm which was built around 1760 but it is now no longer a working farm.

We think we live in one of the most beautiful parts of North Nottinghamshire and would like to invite you to spend time in our cottages and for you to also enjoy the beautiful views of the open countryside which we are so fortunate to overlook giving a panoramic view. We would also like you to experience the wonderful peace and quiet here that country living brings.

The Cottages are both south facing and guests are welcome to use the gardens.  

We would also encourage guests to take the opportunity to walk the numerous footpaths just a few steps away from the cottages. You may also be lucky enough to see some Highland Cattle which are sometimes put out to graze on our field.
